Modern American Theatre & Green Gerry @ Antioch

June 14, 2010

Have you heard?!?!
Proxart is having shows EVERY FRIDAY this summer!
We’ve already had two, so here’s the third!

Modern American Theatre is back and ready to kick your ass with their intense vocal melodies and dual guitar-tapping rhythms that create amazing, danceable soundscapes. Don’t believe me? Check out the ending of “We Used To Want Reg”. It’s an intricate romp!

Opening for them is Green Gerry. A folk, ambient solo artist.
He just released an album that sounds amazing. It’s streaming here: Old Tymes

There’s also a session of open mic for anybody to come and do just about any type of talent. I’d love to see a comedian.

Check both acts and the open mic-ers out, this Friday @ Antioch at 8PM.

24422 Chestnut St
Newhall, CA 91321
And like all the shows we’ve been having, there is a $5 cover that is split between keeping the venue alive, so we can continue having shows, and two other charities. Proxart is included in one of those charities! So if you love bringing art to suburbia you should come and enjoy yourself.
