proxart is absolutely nothing without artist involvement.

as you (hopefully) know, our goal is to start bringing good, quality artwork into the local public’s eye, in any way possible.
right now, we’re doing our best to get the word out about some of the music being made in santa clarita through our monthly black&white event*, and this month we’ll be starting up something new called film&discussion – but we would like to do a lot more!

that being said, we (obviously) don’t have a physical space to display artwork – because santa clarita is a wasteland, as far as art galleries are concerned.
BUT (!!!) we do have the internet; thank god** for the internet!

so here’s the deal, folks:
we want to feature your art here on our blog, our website, and in our newsletter**, through something we’re calling (online) exposure.
here, we’ll be able to post your work, link to your site, and maybe we’ll even be lucky enough to get an with interview you that we can post as well.

to get your artwork to us, you can do one of two things:
1) email us at submit@proxart.com
2) post a comment down below with a link to your flickr/deviantart/blog/whatever
then, we will get back to you as soon as possible, and let you know how we plan on handling your submission.

at this point, we will accept anything that can be presented through online media.
this includes (but isn’t limited to): painting, photography, mixed media, film, poetry, short stories, and/or music.

our first feature will be up next week, and we’re pretty psyched about the art that’s going to be shown.

we want to help you get the word out about the art you’re making, so please send in your stuff.
we can’t wait to see it!

cheers,

- nate.
